Overview

A well-established, collegial hospital-based private pathology practice with over 55 years in operation invites applications for two full-time AP/CP pathologists. This growing group offers a diverse and balanced caseload, evenly shared call, and a fully equipped on-site private laboratory. The practice is known for its supportive culture and commitment to diagnostic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Sign out a diverse caseload including biopsies, surgical resections, and frozen sections
• Interpret bone marrows and clinical pathology cases
• Perform Gyn and Non-Gyn cytology, including immediate adequacy evaluations
• Utilize on-site histology, cytology, and molecular laboratory resources
• Participate in evenly shared call rotation

Candidate Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO with completion of an approved AP/CP residency
• BC/BE by the American Board of Pathology or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology
• Eligibility for applicable state medical licensure(s)
• Strong surgical pathology skills across a broad range of specimen types

Preferred:

• Fellowship training in surgical pathology or a related subspecialty
• Applications welcome from both experienced pathologists and candidates currently completing fellowship training
