Hospital Based Hematopathologist Needed, Central New Jersey
Santé consulting is currently looking for an experienced hematopathologist The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Penn Medicine-Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro, NJ, is seeking an experienced pathologist to join Pathology Associates of Princeton with duties in both anatomic, clinical pathology (AP/CP) and hematopathology.
As a practicing pathologist at the hospital, the candidate will have responsibilities in the routine sign-out of pathology cases, including general surgical pathology, frozen sections, non-gyn cytopathology, and bone marrow examinations (in association with a board certified hematopathologist). The pathologist will also have involvement in the general clinical laboratory.
The position is available immediately.
Penn Medicine-Princeton Medical Center is a member hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System as well as an affiliate of RWJ-Rutgers Medical School. The Hospital maintains medical student rotations, and residencies in internal medicine and surgery from RWJ-Rutgers Medical School.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (or Canadian equivalent) and board certification in hemtopathology. Experience in general surgical pathology is required (minimum 3 years post residency or fellowship). Clinical pathology consultative skills are required, and applicants with experience in the practice of hematopathology are preferred.
