GI Pathologist — AP/CP Surgical Pathology

Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a GI Pathologist to join a rapidly growing, independent physician-led pathology practice in the New England region. This position is ideal for a board-certified AP/CP surgical pathologist with strong general surgical pathology skills and a special interest in gastrointestinal pathology.

The practice is seeking a collaborative, motivated pathologist who values diagnostic excellence, teamwork, and professional growth. The position is available for immediate hire and offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a $100,000 signing bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Focus on GI surgical pathology cases
Maintain high diagnostic accuracy and productivity in a private practice setting

Collaborate closely with clinicians and laboratory staff

Candidate Qualifications

Required

MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
Strong surgical pathology diagnostic skills
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to practice

Preferred

Fellowship training or demonstrated experience in Gastrointestinal Pathology
One to two years of post-training experience preferred, though new graduates and fellows are encouraged to apply
Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
