Santé Consulting is seeking an experienced Practice Administrator/CEO to oversee the overall management, operations, and strategic development of physicians, laboratory staff, and administrative professionals who provide high-quality professional and laboratory pathology services to multiple hospitals.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, including incentive opportunities such as eligibility for end of year bonus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Provide leadership and oversight for all non-medical aspects of the corporation's operations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix of non-medical personnel to support efficient and effective operations.
- Direct, evaluate, and develop non-medical personnel through established direct and indirect reporting relationships.
- Implement policies, practices, and procedures that promote a positive work environment, recognize employee contributions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to healthcare, pathology, IRS requirements, reimbursement, retirement plans, and insurance.
- Serve as a resource to, and provide leadership for, corporation committees.
- Participate in contract negotiations and maintain ongoing relationships with contracting organizations.
- Monitor and respond to trends and changes in medical practice, particularly as they relate to pathology services.
- Conduct regular evaluations of administrative staff performance in alignment with corporate goals and resources.
- Leand ongoing strategic planning process, including goal setting, performance monitoring, and report for Board adoption.
- Assess and recommend innovative and forward-looking strategies to support corporate growth.
- Hire and terminate non-pathologist employees.
- Establish salaries, raises, promotions, and commissions for non-pathologist employees.
- Determine bonus amounts with approval of the Executive Committee.
- Authority regarding compensation, budgeting, and expenses consistent with Board approved policies.
- Develop and recommend the corporation's fee structure with approval of the Executive Committee.
- Oversee practice management systems, billing platforms, technology investments, information technology strategies and data analytics to support operational and financial performance.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of executive-level experience in healthcare industry, preferably with operational and financial responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize human resources at multiple organizational levels.
- Experience in strategic planning and corporate and financial operations.
- Proven success in marketing and contract negotiations.
