Seeks a Molecular Pathologist

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (USA). Santé Consulting has been engaged to select a new Anatomic Pathologist as the University of Oklahoma’s (OU) seeking a pathologist with training in molecular pathology. The holder of this non-tenure-track position will integrate cytogenetic, genetic, and molecular oncologic testing at OU Health, an 804-bed newly integrated academic health system that includes the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and Oklahoma Children’s Hospital.

• Assistant Professor to Professor rank
• Allocation of effort is flexible
• Clinician, clinician-educator and clinician-scientist tracks available
• Non-tenure track

Required experience and qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Oklahoma
• Board certification or eligibility in anatomic, clinical, or anatomic and clinical pathology (American Board of Pathology)
• Board certification, board eligibility, or current fellowship training in molecular genetic pathology (American Board of Pathology)
• Experience with high-throughput methods, including next-generation sequencing, for the diagnosis of constitutional and somatic disorders
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively within a comprehensive pathology service line
• Dedication to excellence in teaching and mentoring pathology residents and medical students
• Interest or expertise in bioinformatics would be a plus
