Hospital Based Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist

 

Santé Consulting has recently been engaged to conduct a nationwide search for a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist, located in the Midwest. Serving Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, our client is an expanding multi-specialty practice seeking a full-time, AP/CP board certified pathologist to work on-site at their client hospital in Michigan.  This full-time opportunity enjoys a variety of specimens to screen, and no autopsies.

 

 The ideal candidate will have be board certified/eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with sub-specialty fellowship training in surgical pathology, GI, GYN or Breast pathology. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to obtain unrestricted medical licenses in Indiana and Michigan is required.

 

 Our client is a non-profit Pathology and Blood Center and that has served clients for over a century. This unique practice includes of a mix of veteran pathologists and new graduates – most with subspecialty training. Three pathologist assistants handle grossing responsibilities. The pathologists function as integral members of the clinical team, diagnosing approximately 45,000 surgical cases, 600 bone marrows, and 4,000 cytology specimens annually from numerous large regional hospitals and outpatient centers.
