Meriden, Connecticut (USA). Hartford Pathology Associates is seeking an AP/CP board-certified pathologist to fill the role of Staff Pathologist at MidState Medical Center. This full-time position is well-suited for an independent community hospital pathologist with excellent diagnostic skills in surgical pathology. Responsibilities include sign-out of surgical pathology, possible supervision of the clinical laboratory and participation in hospital boards and initiatives. 

Hartford Pathology Associates is a group of more than 30 pathologists serving 6 hospitals in the Hartford Healthcare System and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. MidState Medical Center currently handles 7500 cases, along with 700 cytology and 150 bone marrow cases, annually. Candidates with prior work experience and recent graduates will be considered for this position. Cytology and/or bone marrow sign-out is desirable, but not essential.
