Seeks a Medical Microbiologist
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA (USA). The Department of Pathology of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences (OUHS) College of Medicine seeks a pathologist with training in medical microbiology. The holder of this non-tenure-track position at assistant professor to professor rank will practice at OU Health, an 804-bed integrated academic health system that includes the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and Oklahoma Children’s Hospital.
The OU Department of Pathology is dedicated to excellence in patient care, research, and education. Our pathologists and PhD laboratorians support a range of clinical hubs, including the NCI-designated Stephenson Cancer Center. Our scientific strengths include cancer biology and nanomedicine. And our award-winning teachers hold leadership positions in the OU College of Medicine.
Besides providing clinical services in medical microbiology and clinical pathology, the successful candidate will conduct collaborative or independent scholarship and teach pathology. Allocation of effort is flexible, with clinician, clinician-educator, and clinician-scientist tracks available.
